Cough, sore throat, runny nose, headaches? If your symptoms are longer than 3 days, you should seek care. If you have fever greater than 100.4°F, you should seek care today.

DandruffX
Irritating white flakes on your clothing are from the excessive shedding of your scalp. Sometimes, dandruf is caused from inflammations of the scalp; causing an itchy red rash. It is believed to be caused by over growth of the fungus Malassezia.

Ear pain has many causes.

Head LiceX
Head lice is a parasitic insect that is usually found in the head. It lives near the scalp to feed on blood several times a day.
Head lice is very common among school age children and adults in the same house hold. Head lice is spread by direct contact. Head to head contact carries the greatest risk. Spread by clothing or personal items such as combs, towels, brushes are rare.Personal hygenes and cleanliness is not related to getting head lice.

Heat RashX
Heat rash is a skin condition that begins with plugging of the sweat glands which gives rise to irritation, redness, and itching of the affected area.

Redness and swelling of the surface of the eye has a variety of causes:
- Bacterial or Viral Infection

Poison IvyX
Exposure to poision ivy, poision oak, or poison sumac exposes the skin to the highly allergenic urushiol oily resin. You can also get the rash from indirect exposures such as pets, tools, clothing.

RingwormX
Red, itchy, scally patches with a raised red border and a lighter rash in the center are characteristic of ringworm.

Severe itching with a rash? It may be scabies. This common skin condition is caused by an eight-legged human itch mite. When the mite digs into the skin, it causes the characteristic rash.

- On the waist line
- On the breasts
- On the genitals

ShinglesX
Shingles is a painful rash that appears in a band on one side of your body. This rash is caused by the chickenpox virus (varicella-zoster.) After getting the initial episode of chickenpox, the virus lays dormant in your nerve root. It gets reactivated during periods of stress: physical or emotional.
Triggers for shingles include:
- Physical Stress: Illness, lack of sleep.
- Emotional Stress
- Weakened immune system
Shingles typically begin with burning, numbness in the area that will be affected before any rash appears. Best resulted is obtained with early treatment. Go to the hospital right away if you have shingles in the eye.

Sore ThroatX
Scratchy, burning, dry, irritated throat? Do you have a fever? The most common cause of a bacterial infection causing sore throat is strep throat. Strep throat causes an inflamed throat with white patches, fever, and malaise.
Antibiotics treatment for strep throat:
- Gets you feeling better faster.
- Reduces the time that you are contagious.
- Reduces the risk of complications such as heart valve damage or kidney damage.
A negative strep test does not mean you do not have strep. Up to 20 percent of negative strep tests are actually wrong. The FDA requires a negative rapid strep to be confirmed by a throat culture.
If you want to know for sure if you have strep throat, having a throat culture done in person is best. Keep in mind that while you wait the 2-3 days for the results, you may be contagious.

STDX
Burning on urination, vaginal discharge, or penile discharge? Rash on your genitals? These may be symptoms of a sexually transmitted disease.
You definitely need to see your primary care doctor to do further testing. Especially since you may be infected with more than one STD.
However, while you wait for the test results, we can help you get better.

Burning on urination? An intense urge to urinate, yet only a small amount of urine comes out when you urinate? Pressure on your lower abdomen? Cloudy, or bad smelling urine? These may be symptoms of a urinary tract infection.
Fifty percent of all women get at least one episode of urinary tract infection in their life. Many have repeat infections. For men, it is more frequent with older age. Typically this is from an enlarging prostate.

Birth ControlX
For women between the ages of 16-34, we can prescribe combination birth control pills for 3 months at a time. We can also prescribe extended cycle birth control.
We do not prescribe the vaginal rings, or the birth control patches because those two methods are associated with a much greater risk of blood clots than the birth control pills we can prescribe.
Eyelashes lengtheningX
Thin lashes? Wish your lashes could be longer, and fuller? There is an FDA-approved treatment to grow eyelashes for people with inadequate or not enough lashes.
The most common side effect is itching of the eye or eye redness. This medication may cause brown darkening of the colored part of the eye which is likely permanent.

If you ran out of your medications, and are unable to see your doctor, we can help. We understand that many medications should not be discontinued suddenly. We can issue a new prescription for many medications. Please send us a picture of the prescription, or prescription bottles with your name, date, and medication name visible. We can let you know before the visit starts if your medication can be prescribed.
We have to see the picture of the medications to be refilled before the visit can be started.
